FROM THE OFFICE OF THE
MOST WORSHIPFUL GRAND MASTER
This year has brought about many challenges, some college plans have changed with students attending classes on-line or on campus with extensive protocols. Despite this upheaval, students are furthering their education so they can improve their lives.
When the pandemic ends, they will be ready to contribute to our community, thanks to the scholarships that make their education possible. The Aloha Prince Hall Hawaii Foundation is amongst the multitude of organizations that sponsor an annual scholarship through the Hawaii Community Foundation (HCF) to make this attainable.
“The Hawaii Community Foundation (HCF) distributes over $6 million annually to deserving students, making it the third largest private provider of post-secondary scholarship in the state. Our scholarships support students who are pursuing degrees from colleges and universities, as well as those obtaining career and technical education at a community college. In 2020, the average scholarship award was over $6,000 per student. The HCF 2021-2022 Common Application will open on Monday, November 16, 2020, and will close on Monday, February 1, 2021 at 4:00 PM, Hawaii Standard Time.” Please review the attached flyer, which details the application process.
